6. Installation precautions

1. The pipeline flange must comply with the valve pressure standard, and it is recommended to use butterfly valve specific flanges for clamp butterfly valves.
2. Before use and installation, check whether the usage conditions match the performance of this butterfly valve.
3. Before installation, the valve chamber and sealing surface should be cleaned to prevent dirt from adhering. Before using new pipelines, the valve should be opened and the pipeline should be cleaned with air or water before use.
4. The two ends of the valve seat protrude from the valve body end face as flange sealing gaskets, and the sealing gasket cannot be added during the installation of butterfly valves.
5. Butterfly valves can be installed on pipelines at horizontal, vertical, and any angle, and can be used in both directions; Butterfly valves shall not be installed at the corners of pipelines and shall not be installed upside down.
6. When installing, the butterfly valve should be in the closed position to ensure that the butterfly plate does not collide with the pipeline flange, etc.
7. Confirm that the flange welding is correct, and it is not allowed to weld the flange again after the butterfly valve is installed.
8. If the butterfly valve is found to have abnormal opening and closing, the cause should be identified and the fault should be eliminated; Do not use methods such as knocking, smashing, prying, and extending the handle extension to forcefully open and close.
9. During transportation and storage of butterfly valves, the butterfly plate should not collide with hard objects and should be opened at a position of 8-10 ° to ensure that the sealing surface is not damaged during this period.
10. If the LT butterfly valve is used at the end of the pipeline, please specify it in the order.
