Characteristics of disc flange steam trap:
Small size, light weight, not limited by the installation position. All materials are stainless steel, durable, corrosion resistant. It is not afraid of freezing outside, can withstand water hammer and overheat. The subcooling degree is 8 ℃, the steam leakage rate is less than 3% of the actual displacement, and the maximum back pressure is 50%. Simple structure, convenient installation and maintenance.
Working principle of disc flange steam trap:
There is a valve plate in the steam trap, which is not only a sensitive part but also an action actuator. When the device is started, the cooling condensate appears in the pipeline, and the condensate is quickly discharged by pushing the valve plate open under the working pressure. When the condensate is discharged, the steam enters into the steam trap, the volume of steam expands rapidly, and the flow rate of steam is higher than that of condensate, which causes the pressure difference between the upper and lower parts of the valve plate, and the valve plate closes rapidly under the suction of steam flow rate. When the valve plate is closed, the valve plate is under pressure on both sides, and the stress area under the valve plate is less than that on the top. Because the pressure in the steam trap chamber comes from the steam pressure, the stress on the top of the valve plate is greater than that on the bottom, and the valve plate is closed tightly. When the steam in the steam trap chamber cools down to condensate, the pressure in the steam trap chamber disappears. When the valve plate is pushed open by the working pressure, the condensate will continue to discharge, circulate and discharge intermittently.
