Working principle of piston type quick opening mud discharge valve:

The quick opening mud discharge valve is composed of a hydraulic cylinder and an angle stop valve combination. The power inside the hydraulic cylinder drives the valve disc to lift and open the valve body channel to achieve liquid on-off. The piston seal of the hydraulic cylinder is an L-shaped cup, and the quick opening mud discharge valve has good sealing performance and is durable. The valve disc and valve seat are soft sealed, with good sealing performance and no leakage. The quick opening mud discharge valve adopts an electric two position four way directional valve or a manual two pull four way directional valve for centralized control, which is easy to operate.

Key points for the design and selection of hydraulic control valves

(1) The hydraulic control valve used in engineering is a product that has passed the manufacturer's inspection, has complete identification, and meets the technical requirements.

(2) According to functional requirements, select the type of valve, and then determine the material of the valve body and sealing parts based on the pipeline transportation medium, temperature, building standards, and major industry requirements. Commonly used valve body materials include cast iron, copper iron, copper, plastic, etc. Commonly used sealing surfaces and lining materials include copper alloy, plastic, steel, hard alloy, rubber, etc. The valve body material should match the pipeline material.

(3) The nominal pressure of valves varies from 0.6, 1.0, 1.6, 2.5, and 4.0 MPa. The working pressure of the medium transported by pipelines should be less than the nominal pressure value of the valve.

(4) The setting of hydraulic control valves in engineering should have sufficient space for management, operation, installation, and maintenance, and should meet the requirements of pipelines for valves.

(5) When the pipeline is connected with flanges, hydraulic control valves connected with flanges should be used; When the pipeline is connected in a groove type, a hydraulic control valve with a groove type connection should be used.

(6) Water control valves should be installed on pipelines with unidirectional flow of medium.

(7) The arrow direction on the main valve body of the hydraulic control valve must be consistent with the flow direction of the pipeline system.

(8) The pipeline section connected to the hydraulic control valve should not have air blockage or air resistance. Automatic exhaust valves should be installed in the highest position of the pipeline network and other gas storage sections.

(9) When the valve is installed horizontally, the valve cover and valve stem should face upwards. When installed vertically, the valve cover and valve stem should face outward.

(10) Strength and tightness tests should be conducted before valve installation.

(11) The strength and tightness test of the valve should comply with the following regulations.

A. The strength test pressure of the valve is 1.5 times the nominal pressure;

B. The tightness test pressure of the valve is 1.5 times the nominal pressure;

C. The test pressure should remain unchanged during the test duration, and there should be no leakage on the shell packing and valve disc sealing surface;

D. The duration of valve testing shall be as shown in the table above.
