Working principle of spring type full open safety valve:

Safety valve is a safety device to prevent pressure equipment and vessels from bursting due to pressure rise or pressure inside the vessel exceeding the limit. Safety valve is a safety device widely used in pressure vessel, boiler, pressure pipeline and other pressure systems to ensure the safe operation of pressure system. When the pressure of the vessel exceeds the design requirements, the safety valve will open automatically to discharge the gas and reduce the overpressure in the vessel to prevent the vessel or pipeline from being damaged. When the pressure in the container drops to the normal operating pressure, it will automatically close to avoid the waste and production interruption caused by the overpressure of the container. The safety valve is mainly composed of seat, disc (spool) and loading mechanism. Some seats are integral with the valve body, and some are assembled with the valve body, which is connected with the equipment. The disc is often attached with a stem, which fastens on the seat. Above the valve disc is the loading mechanism, the size of the load can be adjusted. When the pressure in the equipment is within a certain working pressure range, the force of the internal medium acting on the valve disc is less than the force added on the valve by the loading mechanism. The difference between the two constitutes the sealing force between the valve disc and the valve seat, so that the valve disc presses the valve seat tightly and the medium of the equipment cannot be discharged. When the pressure in the equipment exceeds the specified working pressure and reaches the opening pressure of the safety valve, the force exerted by the internal medium on the alarm valve is greater than the force exerted by the loading mechanism, so the valve disc leaves the valve seat and the safety valve opens. The medium in the equipment is discharged through the valve seat. If the displacement of the safety valve is greater than the safety relief capacity of the equipment, the pressure in the equipment gradually decreases, And after a short time of exhaust, the pressure will drop back to the normal working pressure. At this time, the force exerted by the internal pressure on the valve disc is less than that exerted by the loading mechanism, and the valve disc presses the valve seat tightly. The medium stops discharging, and the equipment continues to operate under normal working pressure. Therefore, the safety valve is closed or opened by itself through the fluctuation of the medium force on the valve disc and the force of the loading mechanism, so as to prevent the equipment from overpressure.
