A concentric reducer is a type of pipe that is directly welded to a steel pipe. The main manufacturing standards for concentric reducers are generally GB/T12459, GB/T13401, ASME B16.9, SH3408, SH3409, HG/T21635, HG/T21631, and SY/T0510. There are two main international pipe flange standards, namely the European pipe flange system represented by German DIN (including the former Soviet Union) and the American pipe flange system represented by American ANSI pipe flanges. In addition, there are also Japanese JIS pipe flanges, which are generally only used for public works in petrochemical plants and have a relatively small international impact. Reducing pipes, also known as large and small ends, are used to connect pipes of different sizes. They are generally divided into two types: eccentric reducing pipes and concentric reducing pipes. Eccentric reducer refers to a reducer whose center is not in the same straight line. A reducer with a center on the same straight line is called a concentric reducer. The commonly used forming processes are shrinkage compression, expansion compression, or shrinkage plus expansion compression. Stamping can also be used for certain specifications of reducing pipes


Application of eccentric reducer:

Eccentric reducing pipes with different diameters at both ends are used to connect pipes or flanges of different diameters for diameter reduction. The two ends of the eccentric reducing pipe have nozzles with the center of the circle on the same axis. When changing the diameter, if the position of the pipe is calculated based on the axis, the position of the pipe remains unchanged and is generally used for gas or vertical liquid pipeline diameter changing.

When the tangential point of the eccentric reducing pipe is upward, it is called top flat installation.
