Introduction to straight through diaphragm valve:

A straight through diaphragm valve is a special form of block valve, whose opening and closing parts are a diaphragm made of soft material, which separates the valve body cavity from the valve cover cavity and driving components. The valve has an elastic and disturbable diaphragm connected to the compressed part by bolts. The compressed part is operated by the valve stem and moves up and down. When the compressed part rises, the diaphragm rises, creating a passage. When the compressed part drops, the diaphragm presses against the bottom of the contour, making it suitable for switching and throttling purposes. This type of diaphragm valve has a greater fluid resistance than the ridge type diaphragm valve, but has a larger sealing area and good sealing performance, making it suitable for pipelines with high vacuum.

Characteristics of straight through diaphragm valve:

(1) Elastic sealed opening and closing components ensure no internal leakage

(2) The streamline flow passage makes the pressure loss small

(3) There is no stuffing box, therefore there is no leakage

(4) The valve body and cover are separated by an intermediate diaphragm, so that the valve cover, valve stem, and other parts above the diaphragm are not corroded by the medium

(5) The diaphragm can be replaced, with low maintenance costs

(6) The diversity of lining materials is suitable for various media and has the characteristics of high strength and good corrosion resistance.
