(1) The installation position of the regulating valve should meet the requirements of the process flow design, and should be close to the primary indicating instrument related to it, so that the primary instrument can be observed when manually operating the bypass valve;
(2) The regulating valve should be arranged on the ground or platform and easy to operate and maintain;
(3) The regulating valve should be installed upright and vertically on a horizontal pipeline. In special circumstances, it can be installed horizontally or obliquely, but support must be added;
(4) When installing the regulating valve group (including regulating valve, bypass valve, cut-off valve, and discharge valve) on the vertical side, the regulating valve should be installed below the bypass. Regulating valves with a nominal diameter less than 25mm can also be installed above the bypass;
(5) The clearance between the bottom of the regulating valve and the ground or platform surface should not be less than 4oomm. For single and double seat regulating valves with reverse valve cores, it is advisable to leave space below the valve body for extracting the valve core;
(6) There should be a clearance of no less than 2mm above the top of the regulating valve diaphragm head. When arranging the regulating valve and bypass valve up and down, the position should be adjusted accordingly;
(7) Gate valves should be used for shut-off valves, and globe valves should be used for bypass valves. However, when the nominal diameter of the bypass valve is greater than 150mm, gate valves can be used. The two shut-off valves and the regulating valve should not be arranged in a straight line;
(8) A discharge valve should be installed at the low point of the pipeline between the inlet side of the regulating valve and the cut-off valve upstream of the regulating valve. The discharge valve can be a gate valve;
(9) The regulating valve on pipelines containing solid particles in the medium should be arranged on the same plane as the bypass valve or below the regulating valve;
(10) There should be one fixed bracket and the other sliding bracket in the two brackets of the regulating valve group on low-temperature and high-temperature pipelines;
(11) The regulating valve should be installed in an environment where the temperature is not higher than 60 ℃ and not lower than -40 ℃, and away from vibration sources;
(12) When there are many regulating valve groups in an area, it should be considered that the form is consistent, neat, beautiful, and easy to operate;
(13) When the diameter of the regulating valve and the isolating valve are different, the reducing pipe should be installed close to the regulating room;
(14) Pay attention to whether the process has special requirements for the position of the regulating valve.
