Bellows globe valves, also known as bellows sealed globe valves, form a metal barrier between the fluid medium and the atmosphere through automatic roll welding, ensuring a zero leakage design of the valve stem. The interior of the bellows stop valve adopts a bellows structure, and the lower end of the stainless steel bellows is welded to the valve stem to prevent process fluid from corroding the valve stem. The other end is placed between the valve body and the valve cover to form a static seal. Adopting a dual sealing design, if the bellows fails, the valve stem packing will also avoid leakage. The bellows is welded to the valve stem to maintain stable operating performance and avoid valve stem vibration caused by valve plug vibration.

Bellows globe valves are called differently in different situations or places. Bellows globe valves are also called bellows sealed globe valves. Compared with ordinary globe valves, bellows globe valves have no leakage and are safer when applied to high-risk media. The corrugated pipe shut-off valve uses a sealed corrugated pipe that can be stretched and compressed to replace the packing seal, which can effectively prevent external leakage caused by packing loss. Generally used for transporting media with strong permeability, such as valves on hydrogen systems, as long as the bellows is not damaged, there is generally no leakage; Generally, globe valves are sealed with packing, which can easily cause leakage.

Bellows globe valves are better than ordinary ones. Ordinary globe valves are sealed with packing, and the valve stem and packing slide, making them prone to leakage at low temperatures. The interior of the bellows stop valve adopts a bellows structure. Bellows globe valves are a relatively small category, while steam globe valves have a relatively large category. Ordinary globe valves can also be used in steam systems; It can be said that a corrugated pipe stop valve belongs to a steam stop valve, but it cannot be said that a steam stop valve belongs to a corrugated pipe stop valve.


If there is external leakage in the bellows globe valve, it is still relatively easy to handle. Don't worry too much, just check and repair it step by step. If it is a leakage in the middle flange, tighten the bolts of the middle flange again. If it still leaks, open it to see if the gasket of the middle flange is damaged. If there is leakage at the packing, tighten the packing gland. If the packing is too loose, add more packing, If the leakage is directly on the body, welding can be done under low pressure. If the pressure is high, do not do so, as it can cause danger. There are many situations for internal leakage, so you can do a simple inspection yourself first.


Compared with traditional globe valves, corrugated pipe globe valves have the following advantages:

5. The gas medium valve seat adopts PTFE soft sealing material to improve the sealing performance of this valve.
6. The valve seat with high temperature resistance ≤ 425 ℃ adopts a conical hard seal. Achieve airtight performance with zero leakage.
