Forged steel check valve is to rely on the flow of the medium itself and automatically open, close disc, used to prevent the medium backflow valve, also known as the check valve, check valve, reverse flow valve, and back pressure valve.Check valve belongs to a kind of automatic valve, its main function is to prevent the backflow of media, prevent the reversal of pump and drive motor, as well as the release of container media.Check valves can also be used in piping where pressure may rise above system pressure to supply an auxiliary system.Check valves can be divided into swing check valves (rotating according to the center of gravity) and lifting check valves (moving along the axis).

The purpose of this type of valve is to allow the medium to flow in only one direction and to stop the flow in that direction.Normally the valve works automatically and the disc opens under pressure from a flow of fluid in one direction.Flow in the opposite direction, by the fluid pressure and disc self - coincidence disc on the seat, thereby cutting off the flow.

Among them internal thread check valve, butterfly check valve belongs to this type of valve, it includes swing check valve and lift check valve.Swing check valves have a medium hinged mechanism and a door-like disc that rests freely against an inclined seat surface.To ensure that the disc reaches the proper seat face each time, the disc is designed in a hinged mechanism so that the disc has enough swing space and true, full contact with the seat.Disc may be made entirely of metal, inlaid with leather, rubber, or with a synthetic cover, depending on performance requirements.

Swing check valves provide virtually unimpeded fluid pressure when fully open, so the pressure drop through the valve is relatively small.The disc of the lifting check valve is located on the sealing surface of the valve body.In addition to the free movement of the disc up and down, the rest of the valve is like a globe valve, where fluid pressure lifts the disc from the seat sealing face and media backflow causes the disc to fall back onto the seat and cut off flow.

Depending on the conditions of use, the disc may be of all-metal construction or in the form of a rubber pad or ring mounted on the disc holder.Like globe valves, the passage of fluid through the lift check valve is narrow, so the pressure drop through the lift check valve is larger than the swing check valve, and the flow of the swing check valve is less limited.
